Barçelona Inspirada

We traveled to Spain in 2019 and fell in love with the sites of Barçelona.

You can’t really walk anywhere in the city without seeing art. Urban settings are so wonderful for that. I’m grateful to have been able to explore Barcelona before this crazy covid-19 time hit. I’m also grateful that I was able to revisit it in my photos and imagination as I put this line together. Salvador Dalí, Picasso, Miró, Gaudí… you can walk around the city and see their influences all around and even pop into their museums or the cathedral for deeper dives. And of course the street art is the most influential of all. Two of my pieces in this line were inspired by street art that I passed everyday near my apartment. Art is how we tap into the deepest feelings of life and our nature as creative creatures. Whether you create music, words of meaning, new ideas, computer code, or do scientific research, I hope this line inspires appreciation for the creative power in all of us.
