These earrings were inspired by mosaics we saw all over the city. The one pictured was a life-sized favorite. It was one of the underground metro stations.
Hand painted with lines of black glaze, followed by overlay of a kiln-fired 22k gold luster on 2 of the lines.
The difference in the glazed and unglazed surfaces creates a beautiful texture.
The ear hooks are 14k gold-filled.
