These earrings were inspired by this bowl at Casa Milà, a house of Antoni Gaudí, and by the street tiles in Vila De Gràcia.
A black stain is mixed in the clay to create a charcoal color.
Clear glaze is hand painted in the design, the piece is fired, then a kiln-fired 22k gold luster is hand painted over the glazed design.
The difference in the glazed and unglazed surfaces creates a beautiful texture.
The ear hooks are 14k gold-filled.
Hexagons measure about 1" wide.
